At the uproar of your army, the peoples flee; when you rise up, the nations scatter. Isa 33:2-3 EVERYONE – SAVE THE DATES IN 2015: We have many exciting events and gatherings to announce for 2015. March 28 in London at the Emmanuel Centre for the Passover Celebration. April 22-30 for the Roots & Reflections tour called, A Journey Through Israel - A Time to Learn and A Time to Pray, Sept. 29-October 1 for the Succot Celebration in Jerusalem in its 15th year and October 9-10 at the Emmanuel Centre in England for the London Feast of Tabernacles Celebration. Plan to be with us at one or more of these events and be blessed in 2015. KNESSET VOTES 84:0 TO DISSOLVE ITSELF; ELECTION DATE: MARCH 17: The Knesset convened Wednesday for a stormy debate in which it voted on its own dissolution. A bill submitted by MK Zehava Galon passed by a vote of 84:0 with one abstention. The heads of all Knesset parties met earlier Wednesday morning at Knesset Speaker MK Yuli Edelsteins office to set a date for upcoming snap elections. The elections will be held next March 17, which falls on a Tuesday. Setting the date for elections comes after PM Binyamin Netanyahu dismissed ministers Tzipi Livni and Yair Lapid the night before, accusing them of holding a putsch against him and preventing him from leading. All of the parties showed responsibility, there were no attempts to drag us into an extra half-year of lawlessness, said Edelstein. I call on all citizens of Israel to show good citizenship and go to the ballots to vote. (Arutz-7) HAMAS HAILS COALITION COLLAPSE AS VICTORY: Hamas on Tuesday night welcomed the collapse of PM Netanyahus coalition and hailed it as a sign of the terrorist groups victory over Israel. The collapse of the Israeli coalition is another example of our victory and of Netanyahus defeat in Gaza, said Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri. The statement was made hours after Netanyahu fired Finance Minister Yair Lapid as well as Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, effectively disbanding the government. Approximately two hours after he fired Lapid and Livni, Netanyahu held a press conference in which he officially launched his election campaign, telling voters who wanted a strong government to vote Likud, noting that the formation of the government was determined because the party under my leadership, the Likud, didnt get enough mandates, so there were in the government contrasting angles. In addition to Hamas, another comment on Netanyahus decision to disband the Knesset came from the US, where Secretary of State John Kerry said that whatever government will be formed, he hoped it would be able to negotiate and move towards resolving differences between Israelis and Palestinians. (Israel National News) ISRAELI MURDERED BY PALESTINIANS IN JUDEA & SAMARIA: On Monday, Avi Ben-Zion, a farmer from Netiv HaGdud in Judea & Samaria, was heading home when several Palestinians stopped him and pulled him out of his car, after which they pounded his head with an iron bar and escaped with his vehicle. Ben-Tzion was found lying in the middle of the road in what was initially believed to have been a traffic accident. He died on Wednesday. IDF soldiers later arrested three Palestinians in towns near the scene of the attack. (Ynet News) TERRORIST STABS TWO IN ISRAELI SUPERMARKET: Two people were moderately wounded after a terrorist stabbed them at a Rami Levi supermarket in the Mishor Adumim settlement on the outskirts of Jerusalem on Wednesday afternoon. The 16-year old Palestinian walked past the security guard who stood by the sliding-glass door entrance checking customers around 4:15 p.m. and used a knife to attack two men standing near the front aisles of the store. Magen David Adom workers treated the men and transferred them to the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. An off-duty security guard shopping at the supermarket shot the terrorist and wounded him. (Jerusalem Post) RAMI LEVY: WE CANNOT LET TERRORISTS BEAT US: The Rami-Levy supermarket in Mishor Adumim re-opened its doors to the public Wednesday evening, only two hours after the terrorist stabbing attack, which resulted in the injuries of two middle-aged men. However, concerns and fear remained, particularly in the Mishor Adumim industrial area, which both Palestinians and Israelis frequent for shopping and trade. Rami-Levy, the CEO and owner of the grocery chain which has branches throughout Israel, said We cannot let terrorists beat us. The moment terrorists do something like this, it is on us to prove that it will not serve them. We will not let extremists spoil the coexistence here. In additional terrorist incidents this week, Thursday morning, rocks were thrown at vehicles in east Jerusalem damaging four. Security forces arrested a resident of Beit Hanina following the attack. Thursday evening, Israeli security forces arrested a Palestinian teen after she approached soldiers at a checkpoint with a knife. The incident, at the Qalandiya checkpoint just north of Jerusalem, came amid a spate of attacks by knife-wielding Palestinians over the last several weeks. (Jerusalem Post/ INN/Ynet) Please pray individually, and in your prayer groups that terrorist rock throwing incidents and knife attacks in and around Jerusalem will be utterly thwarted. Government measures are being put into place to render heavy penalties to terrorists and their family members who glory in such assaults. Pray they will be effective soon! PM NETANYAHU COMMENTS ON MISHOR ADUMIM ATTACK: At the Wednesday evening awards ceremony for the Prime Ministers Prize for Innovation in Alternative Fuels for Transportation, PM Netanyahu made mention of the terror attack in Mishor Adumim earlier in the day. On the way here I spoke to the security guard who thwarted a deadly terrorist attack in Mishor Adumim. I know him; he is a security guard at the Prime Ministers Office. He acted with extraordinary level-headedness, resourcefulness and bravery. I told him that we are all proud of him. I told him that even when he isnt at work – hes at work, and this is our work, to fight terrorism with the same determination, persistence and decisiveness. (Arutz-7) KHAMENEI TELLS ARMED FORCES TO BUILD UP IRRESPECTIVE OF DIPLOMACY: Irans supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called this week for the armed forces to increase their combat capability. Given our vast maritime borders and the enemys huge investments in this area, our armed forces should continuously improve their combat readiness, irrespective of political calculations, Khamenei said. Peacetime offers great opportunities for our armed forces to build up on preemptive capacities, said Khamenei. Generals appointed by Khamenei are maintaining a relentless war rhetoric and unveil on an almost daily basis what they say are new innovations in weaponry. The range of our missiles covers all of Israel today, the chief of the Revolutionary Guards, General Mohammad Ali Jafari, said last week. That means the fall of the Zionist regime, which will certainly come soon. Additional incitement came this week as Irans Supreme Leader claimed to have found the reason for socio-economic problems in the United States. In a series of tweets on Wednesday, Khamenei claimed the Americans problems are due to Israels domination of the US government. (Reuters/INN) Pray according to scripture: Let those be put to shame and brought to dishonor who seek after my life. Let those be turned back and brought to confusion who plot my hurt. Ps: 35:4 JORDANIAN MP REAFFIRMS HIS HATRED FOR JEWS: The Jordanian parliamentarian who led a prayer in parliament in honor of the two terrorists who murdered five people in a Jerusalem synagogue has reaffirmed his hatred for Jews. I hate the Jews, I hate the Jews, I hate the Jews, the MP, Khalil Attieh said on a television show featuring Jordanian MPs discussing parliaments moment of silence in memory of the two terrorists. Hating the Jews is a great honor for me and it makes me walk with my head high, because they are worthy of hatred. Any man of honor should hate the Jews, added Attieh. The show aired on Jordans Royal TV on November 26. Despite Israeli PM Netanyahu recently assuring Jordans King Abdullah that Israel is committed to the peace treaty between the two countries, the mainly Islamist Jordanian government has been striking a far less conciliatory tone, with ministers calling on the king to revoke the peace treaty with Israel. (MEMRI) Intercede that good relations between Israels government and that of Jordan will continue. Pray against the increasing influence and popularity of hardline Islamists in Jordon. FRENCH INTERIOR MINISTER CONDEMNS ANTISEMITIC ATTACK NEAR PARIS: Frances interior minister on Wednesday condemned an antisemitic attack on a young couple that saw armed assailants storm into their apartment, rape the woman and steal jewelry and bank cards. The attack happened on Monday, when a 21-year-old man and his 19-year-old girlfriend were in an apartment in Creteil just outside Paris. According to the familys lawyer, the attackers said you Jews, you have money when entering while wearing masks and gloves. The suspects were armed with an automatic pistol and a sawed-off shotgun. They tied up the victims, raped the young woman and fled an hour later after stealing jewelry, bank cards and mobile phones, a source familiar with the case said. Two suspects accused of participating in the violence were charged on Wednesday with gang rape, armed robbery, kidnapping and extortion followed by violence due to religious affiliation, prosecutors said. The third suspect in the attack remains at large. A fourth suspect has been arrested as an alleged accomplice in the robbery. The accused are also suspected of having beaten a Jewish man in his 70s in November. France has seen a sharp rise in antisemitism in recent years, and it flared particularly during this past summers Operation Protective Edge, with violent protests in Paris. (Israel National News) COFFEE FOR A SHEKEL STARTS THIS WEEK: In effect this week, drivers will be able to buy a cup of coffee for one shekel at Israels gas station convenience stores between midnight and 6:00 a.m. as part of the fight against road accidents. The new initiative was introduced by Deputy Minister of Transportation Tzipi Hotovely in cooperation with the Israel National Road Safety Authority, and is to continue through March 31st. Hotovely pointed out that 18% of traffic fatalities occur during the nighttime hours, while 17% of all accidents occur during that time, despite the fact there are less vehicles on the road.
