JOB ADVERT An Indigenous Oil and Gas Servicing and Training Company based in Port Harcourt is in need of suitable candidates to occupy the position of Sales Officer (Any Discipline) and Senior Sales Engineer (BSc Mechanical Engineering) with minimum 2 to 5 years working experience. SALES OFFICER Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Ensure compliance with guidelines and deadlines to meet assigned and departmental sales targets and profits. 2. Provide excellent customer service and maintain good professional relationships with both existing and new clients. 3. To perform other duties as assigned by management SENIOR SALES ENGINEER Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. Duties & Responsibilities: 1.To develop and implement processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. 2. To provide sales to customers through the creation and execution of strategies and plans that capitalize on the customers strengths as supplemented by the company’s products and services. 3. To assume overall responsibility for customer satisfaction and exceed the organisations sales and income objectives 4. Maintain current knowledge of the product, knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions, and customer base 5. Drive business growth through revenue and margin development. 6. Monitor, analyze and understand market activities to continuously update the business on all Region dynamics. 7. Work with other teams to develop new products and services for business growth (registration as vendor/contractor with other companies) 8. To perform other duties as assigned by management Competence and Skill Requirement: 1. A people oriented person with good face-to-face skills and ability to speak fluently. 2. A passion for the job 3. Proficient in the use of MS Office suite 4. Ability to follow-up on clients 5. Excellent telecommunications skills 6. Good communication, presentation and analytical skills 7.
