We require a fully experienced, motivated and dynamic Funeral Director to join our team. You will need to be experienced in all aspects of arranging and conducting funerals. Excellent organisational skills are essential as is the ability to work on your own initiative. You will be dedicated to providing a caring and professional service to the bereaved and you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A flexible attitude to work is required as you will participate in a 24/7 call out rota and other out of hours and weekend working as required. A full driving licence is essential. Applications are also invited for the position of a Funeral Service Assistant. The postholder will perform a wide range of tasks in support of the activities of the business such as driving hearses and limousines, pall bearing, preparation and care of the deceased, reception and office duties and cleaning of vehicles. Flexibility is essential because participation on a 24/7 call out rota is required as is some out of hours and weekend working. Applicants should have excellent communication skills, be presentable and be able to work on their own initiative. Previous funeral service experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate. A full driving licence is essential.
