JOb: Position Description Community Engagement Field Staff (Part Time) BRIEF DESCRIPTION RAMA Consulting Group is a Columbus-based, performance management consulting firm specializing in outreach and community engagement. We are seeking qualified candidates to assist in conducting outreach, education, and in determining the perceptions and attitudes of residents in Columbus, Ohio. POSITION DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES: Door to door and phone canvassing Conducting resident surveys Maintaining records and activity reports Public presentations COMMUNICATION SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to understand and articulate complex subject-matter The ability to combine customer service and listening skills effectively Maintain a positive, personable, outgoing and enthusiastic attitude Be self-directed and able to work well in a team OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school or equivalent Must be able to work outside and walk 3 to 4 hours each day/night. Requires schedule flexibility to work weekends and some evenings Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation Professional and neat appearance Possess good organization skills and the ability to provide accurate recording of data collection activities Familiarity with smart phone and/or tablet technology is a plus Former campaign/canvassing experience is a plus, but is not required POSITION DETAILS: Part time position – approximately 20-30 hours per week, for up to 24 months Hourly employee or contractor opportunities Hourly rate: $12-14 THE RAMA COMPANIES RAMA Consulting Group, Inc.
