JUBA: Govt Officials Refusing Ebola Screening Not To Be Allowed To Leave Airport. #SouthSudan #SSudan The Minister of Health raised concerns in last Fridays Cabinet Meeting regarding senior government officials who refuse compulsory Ebola screenings at Juba International Airport. The Minister of Information, Michael Makuei Lueth said that the Cabinet resolved that all government officials must undertake the Ebola screenings as per requirements. Those who refuse to comply will be quarantined and not allowed to leave the airport. The Ministry of Interior will deploy Administrative Police to help MoH officials in cases where people refuse to comply. Relatives and bodyguards coming to the airport will no longer be allowed on to the runways or inside the terminal buildings but will be required to wait outside and meet their relatives or bosses after the screening is done. South Sudan is on high alert and has instituted compulsory screenings on arrival as one preventative measure among others since the outbreak of Ebola virus in West Africa. Talk of Juba/NC
