We are sad to announce that the Rock4Rhinos concert which was to have been headlined by The Straits has been cancelled. The concert was due to take place at Supersport Park, Centurion on Saturday, June 28. People who have bought tickets will be refunded in full. The concert has been cancelled due to funding constraints. Bands and performers that had agreed to support The Straits (formerly Dire Straits) at the concert, included Just Jinjer, Freshlyground, Arno Carstens, and Bedouin Sea from Australia. Funds raised at the one day concert - minus costs - would have been donated to the CARE for WILD AFRICA (CFW) Centre to help care for baby rhinos orphaned by poaching.
