JaJuan Lawson cut his list down to 10 last May and has made another big cut to his list over the weekend. Arizona State, Boston College, Fresno State, San Jose State and Texas State are still in the running and Lawson will take one more visit before deciding. “I’ve visited all of those schools except Texas State,” Lawson said. “I definitely plan to visit them though, I’ve heard nothing but good things about the city of San Marcos and I really want to go check them out. “We start school in exactly 30 days and I’m planning to make my decision before then. Right now, I’m still open to all of these schools and don’t have a leader among them. They’re all recruiting me very hard and making me feel like I’m a priority for them so it’s going to be a tough decision.” Lawson is a dual threat quarterback but has the ability to play multiple positions at the next level. “All of the schools recruiting me like me for quarterback except Arizona State andCalifornia,” Lawson said. “They like me as a defensive back and I can play that position as well, it doesn’t really matter to me. The position I’m being recruited at won’t play a factor in the college I choose. “The biggest factors for me are the family feel of the school, the coaching staff, the resources the University provides for you to be successful and the overall scheme, regardless of the position I play.” By Greg Biggins | National Recruiting Analyst
