Jack and I just returned from High Point Market where we too visited the Thayer Coggin showroom. We were blown away by the classic designs of Milo Baughman as well as some truly inspired designs by equally talented designers that Thayer has taken under their wing over the years. They are a true American jewel in the furniture industry. What some would consider ghastly or Scandinavian is simply the refinement of form and function to create the furnishings that one sees copied by other mass marketed retailers. Milo Baughman is an icon in the world of design and as such is highly collectable.
