I am an anarcho-capitalist, and I can tell you that this premise is false (for most of us, and problematic for the rest.) Since one cannot actually transfer one’s will, any more than one can transfer talent or wisdom, or even knowledge by a simple exchange, any such pretense of “selling one’s will” or “selling one’s self” is fraudulent. Self-ownership does not mean one’s life is transferrable to others. It means that every person has jurisdiction over his own life.
