Club Career of James Rodriguez Rodriguez was born in Cucuta, a state of Colombia on 12th of July 1991. He spent his childhood in the city of Ibague. His father name is James Rodriguez Badolla & his mother name is Maria Del Pilar Rubio. He was very passionate about football & in his childhood, James started to play football. Envigado football club: It was the first ever club of this Colombian player which he joined in 2006. There he played total of 30 matches & scored 9 goals. After 1 year he moved to a new club. Atletico Banfield: The Argentine club Atletico Banfield took interest in him & signed him. James played his first match for this club on 7th of Feb 2009. After 20 days, he scored first goal for Atletico Banfield on 27th February against Rosario Central with a stunning long dazzler strike. That was a comfortable win for his new club by 3-1. FC Porto: This was his third club which he joined with a contract of 5.1 million Euros. There he signed a 4 year contract with Portugal club.
