Jamie Oliver yesterday showed why we need much more powerful unions , complaining British workers wont work ridiculously long hours in order to make him even richer. People should not HAVE to work longer than 37 hours a week, and it should be illegal to roster people for longer than that. All contracts should HAVE to show EXACTLY what hours your supposed to work , and EXACTLY what your duties should be, and all using self employment and agency staff to avoid their responsibilities by management should be outlawed. Anybody asked to do things not on their contract, should have the right to refuse, and should have to be paid at a premium rate. Dont say we cant afford that , it would come out of the billions made for doing nothing by the idle rich
