"Jang is just a floor member, Amaechi is the authentic chairman – Nyako There are many things that are still uncertain about the conduct of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum election. One thing that is certain however, is which camp has been the loudest; it’s been Plateau’s Jonah Jang’s clique by a mile. Not anymore it seems. Recently, Ekiti governor, Kayode Fayemi has attempted to set the records straight, Lagos governor, Babatunde Fashola has apologised for the mess, even filed a case in court with the intent to stop Jang from parading himself as chairman of the forum. Now Adamawa boss, Murtala Nyako has taken time off from dealing with the state of emergency currently gripping his state and sparring with President Jonathan on state and local government funds to make one thing clear – Rivers governor Rotimi Amaechi is the authentic NGF chairman.
