A Blessing in Triplicate Numbers 6:24-26 24 “‘The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26 the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’ Exodus 23:25-26 25 Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, 26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span. Deuteronomy 7:13-14 13 He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land—your grain, new wine and olive oil—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. 14 You will be blessed more than any other people; none of your men or women will be childless, nor will any of your livestock be without young. 2. A Blessing From Christ Hebrews 5:4-6 4 And no one takes this honor on himself, but he receives it when called by God, just as Aaron was. 5 In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father.”[a] 6 And he says in another place, “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”[b] Hebrews 4:14-16 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven,[a] Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. 3. A Blessing with Authority In Old Testament times, AARON, endued with the authority of the All Mighty God and using the divine name and the appointed words of God Himself, conveyed Gods blessings on the congregation. Jeremiah 1:12 The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching[a] to see that my word is fulfilled. Luke 1:37 For no word from God will ever fail.” 4. A Blessing in 6 Folds The Lord Bless You - mentioned 415 times in the bible; The Lord Keep You - keep means protection; Psalm 91, prayer for protection; The Lord Make His Face Shine Upon You - we are called to be like Him; The Lord Be Gracious To You - grace is the opposite of what we deserved; The Lord Lift Up His Countenance Upon You - The Lord wants to smile at you; The Lord Give You Peace - He will give his Shalom for you; 5. A Blessings Equated to the Name of God Numbers 6:27 “So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”
