January 26, 2015 Missionary Work! Hello Everyone!! How are you all doing so far? How was everyone week? Well this past week was really good and really fast! Something I wish is that the time will go a lot slower! Camlia is doing awesome!! She is progressing so much!! Camila and her daughter just love being at church and enjoy every bits of it. Her daughter Florencia loves going to primary and she enjoys learning the primary songs! Camila will be getting her baptism interview tomorrow! Very exciting! Even Elder Pablo Gutierrez, my companion is very excited as well because its his first baptism that he will be having in the mission field! Its really cool seeing his excitement into the work. Yesterday I gave a talk in Sacrament meeting, the Bishop asked me to talk about the Work of Salvation and everyone seemed to really enjoy it. The Scripture I enjoyed sharing was Mateo 28:19. The scriptures explains when Jesus was sending out his Apostles to baptize in his name. Well in Spanish and even in french it first says to make them Disciples!! in baptizing them in His name. So basically after every person gets baptize they as well must continue in doing the same work that the Apostles were asked to do! Isnt that amazing?! In english it does say the same thing added into a footnote! To Conclude.... Last night we went over to teach Muslims. It was my very first time and let just say we miraculously ended the convesation with out a fight. Just basically they dont believe Jesus is the Son of God and we testified that he is and is our Savior as well. We tried ending with a closing prayer but they wouldnt alow it because of the way we pray. So we just got up and left and testified to them of the truth of all things, and that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is the Christ and that salvation can only come His way.
