January 3rd Lesson Three THE LORD JESUS IS COMING; PREPARE TEXT: 2 PET 3: 9-14 KEY VERSE: REV 22: 12 THE LORD IS COMING AGAIN! The long dry season of the earth is about to give way for rains from the sky We are hearing thunders We are seeing lightenings on the sky The clouds are forming Sure there shall soon be the rains upon the earth The surface of the earth shall then change Dust shall disappear Dryness shall vanish Freshness and fulness shall return to the earth YES THE LORD SHALL SOON DESCEND TO THE EARTH TO TAKE OVER DOMINION Eventually Satan and sin shall be no more! Gods righteousness, holiness and glory shall cover the earth THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL ENTER INTO EVERLASTING PEACE, JOY, COMFORT AND GLORY We are certain the end is near. We may be living in its brink! The following are proofs that we are in the end time and that Christ will come anytime from now- 1. Scriptures testify of it Our time may witness scriptural fulfillment 2. Iniquity abounds in the world 3. Greater presence and activities of satan and demons in the world 4. Greater ease and pleasures in the world for worldly entertainment and forgetfulness of God 5. Activities of mockers in our time 6. The out pouring of the Holy Spirit 7. Increase of missionary activities in the world 8. Prophetic revelations of the Holy Spirit in our day 9. Practical signs of His coming in our time. Now that it is certain that the Lord is returning and it may be in our time WE MUST MAKE PERSONAL PREPARATION AND HAVE THE RIGHT ATTITUDE TOWARDS HIS COMING These include- 1. Be sober and watch unto prayer 2. Let your moderation be known to all men 3. Be ye also patient 4. Above all have fervent charity 5. Live by faith now 6. Keep Gods commandment wholeheartedly 7. Occupy till He come 8. Submit to the Holy Spirits sanctification and preservation 9. Be ye also ready 10. Hold fast what you have Use extra time and strength for Jesus! THOUGHT- JESUS IS COMING NOW.
