Jason Thompson got me goin yesterday with music. We once had a crazy man named Stan (Stan The Man) who used to call our radio station in Belgium to request music. He was in the Prison for the Criminally Insane. He would call up and say The way is the life and the life is the way. I remember the first time he called me. He said, The gods speak to me through your music. If everyone would listen to your radio station - there would be world peace. I told him, Stan... Im playin Motley Crue. If youre hearin gods... theyre the wrong ones. Having said all that, sometimes crazy people have some truth in their words. Ive decided to share one one positive song each day for a month. Yesterday was a C - will go with D today. In 1980, Dan Fogelberg released this song about a chance encounter with an ex-girlfriend. I think we can all relate.
