Javaid Aziz Nagam D H Pora Kulgam My EID has always been about my GRANDMOTHER Last Year 11/ 12 / 13 she passed away, and Eid hasn’t been the same since. As Ramadan comes to an end and preparations for the Eid holidays begin, memories of past Eid holidays fill my mind– the delicious smellof home cooking mixed with the beautiful scent of my grandmother’s homemade Chicken ; the sound of children talking happily at the front door as they receive their new Eidiya notes and coins, normally handed to them by my grandmother. The years weve shared have been full of joy. The memories weve made will go on and on. I havent stopped crying since you wentaway, and Ive asked God time and time why couldnt you stay. You lit up my life,my hopes,and my dreams. Youve opened my eyes to see what it allmeans. So now that youre gone how can I forget; Because you were the greatest out of all I have met... Really Miss u Dadee ......
