Jay Paternos lawsuit has been called...rightly, imo...laughable and preposterous. I agree. He was fired because Bill OBrien deemed him lacking as a football coach. Bill retained the two good coaches on the staff, their abilities and achievements merited this, beyond question. Jays involvement with team...quite a few years with a handsome salary...had nothing to do with merit beyond birthright. I will give Jay the benefit of the doubt, as I think he has led a pretty sheltered existence...but from the outside this suit has the tenor of using the scandal in an inappropriate manner.
