Jay Z Physically Attacked by Beyonces Sister, Solange Last week, Jay Z, Beyonce and her sister Solange attended a Met Gala after-party at the Standard Hotel in New York City, but the night apparently ended on a sour note. TMZ has obtained surveillance video of the trio entering an elevator, at which point Solange begins physically attacking Jay Z. While theres no audio to go with the video, it appears shes screaming at the rapper before she strikes him several times, as Beyonce looks on. At one point, a large man, presumably their bodyguard, attempts to restrain Solange, who then kicks Jays direction. Jay grabs her foot but at no point in the video does Jay strike or otherwise touch Solange. Later in the video, the bodyguard is seen pressing the emergency stop switch on the 12th floor, perhaps in an effort to prevent the elevator doors from opening until the incident is over, to keep things private. Its currently unclear what caused the attack. ABC News Radio reached out to Solange and Jay-Z’s reps seeking comment on the report but did not receive an immediate answer.
