Jens bird tip of the day. I wish I could take credit for this brilliant thought, but Jeanne shared this with me and I cannot remember the genius who gave her the idea. Some of you may know this trick. ... but for anyone who has a bird who always poops in one spot in the cage, like my Max. His cage is spotless except for what always looks like a huge pile of poo, but few hours in a cage and thats what a macaw leaves behind as a thank you!! For these spot poopers, slide a paper plate, especially a wax coated type like chinet and daily cage maintenance is seconds. Daily remove plate-o-poo nd replace with new!! I just started this with Max and wanted to share for anyone take out there who removes paper when its only a given spot!! Here is the clean going in :)
