Jeremy Here... Well We know that we have evolved from quadrupeds into bipeds and have diverged from chimps and apes into humans. I have learned that we have evolved from hunter/gathers through merchantileism and into industrialization to modern day and through time we have become more localized and lose our nomadic ways as we evolve. We have also found that we as a species we are evolving at different rates inside ourselves and can study our evolution from the difference in advance. We have also been able to look at other species evolution to prove our own divergence into present time has actually happened with for example lice and their hooked appendages. It shows that the evolution of man has also caused the lice to evolve along the same timeline. Their evolution has presented a solid piece of evidence to the puzzle of how we evolved and the way we believe is consistent with biological as well as historical records! Physical anthropology attempts to understand humans and human culture as they relate to earths biological diversity. We are able to see that we are learning as are other animals from each other as we evolve. Ok so we are influenced by animals and in fact copy what seems appropriate into our own culture in as much as we can also. Someone who begins to see these links may indeed have the knowledge and skill set for anthropological insight. We also use another method to answer for culture we use archeology and its historical records provide solid proof of culture for a given time, we then understand what and how we did things around that time from the evidence we have left behind. We can look at populations and the numbers of people we see in groups that live together we see as we evolve out of hunting/gathering our population grows and the amount of work increases significantly for each individual to survive. We also find that the tools and methods of the methods of before more closely associated with the earth are lost and forgotten as we find alternatives closer to our daily lifestyles. We can see in ecology that in industrialism we have changed in a large part the opposite to our ways of hunting and gathering but we are able to survive and evolve like we were not able to before. Now we instead focus on the rest of life on the planet and focus on how to make its evolution possible while avoiding extinction of its inhabitants. I looked at the steady progression of acceptance that is occurring in the different areas like slavery and women’s liberation and we have seen the sudden movement of women is many times faster than the black movement has been in time. I will also add that these advances may be what make the changes accepted with more validation now versus the past for black equality efforts. We have also seen the caste system and the differences between it and class and in a way the whole idea is the same but on a nationwide scale and its one that takes the entire government system changing a very long process. We see class changing also in a much faster pace and may prove in to become the key factor in faster resolution of the issues in countries like India. Class and cast issues as well as women’s rights and black equality issues are topics that are proven to become death beads for some of history’s greatest persons. The importance of anthropological approach to all of our cultural modifications is important to prevent such mistakes again. The science allows us to find the answers we all find as correct together without much of violence seen in the past. We studied languages learned of its parts. We found that we use the language to identify and perceive culture and we idealize from a common point what we perceive and we define culture in this manner together even as individuals from our common understandings of the subject. We have addressed religion as well and the fact that it connects us to a greater perspective than just present time of what is moral it guides us in a way we feel is correct as we grow through lifetime after lifetime still pointing to an approved way of life. Religion an ideology of generations to further generations beyond themselves on what they see as culturally acceptable collectively until present.
