Jessica Raynard and I have a heavy heart today. After several - TopicsExpress

Jessica Raynard and I have a heavy heart today. After several scary events in the recent weeks, and as a safety concern, we have come to the conclusion that we are going to have to remove 1 of our dogs from the home. This subject has been difficult to talk about and we both have been very emotional about it. By now, most people are aware that Kenny and I cannot coexist in the same house with a child(ren). His defensive nature has gotten progressively worse towards me while I am holding Kayli, or anything to do with her. Hes always been guarded against Jessica, to which we managed and had him in training class. He is obedient and understands commands, however he dismisses all of that when it comes to me moving towards either Jess or Kayli. He, from day one, has always had a seriously bad case of separation anxiety. He has been a pivotal part of our family for over 7 years and we want the best for him. Unfortunately we feel as Kayli grows, our concern grows, and we cannot go against our instincts. We would like to see him adopted from us because hes a great companion pet and has a lot of life in him still, just that he needs a home with NO kids (or old enuf to know better) or planning on kids anytime soon, and preferably not with other dogs (hes a strong ALPHA dog). He did very well with Cooper (another dog) being introduced into our home out of the blue and he LOVES people!! Our concern is that as he gets older, he may become more agitated easily. We do not want to place him in a home where he would become worse off. He is current on all his wellness materials, and he has his regularly scheduled vet visits. Further info is available upon request. If you know anyone interested in adopting him from us, please send them our link or message us. Thank you for taking the time to read this. The Raynard Family.
