Job Advertisement for Program manager in Kabul Job Announcement by Rushd Job Title: Program Manager Duty Station: Kabul About Rushd Rushd is an Afghan civil society organization founded by a number of young Afghan women in 2009. Rushd is dedicated to human development for women’s rights, democracy and peace in Afghanistan. Rush is currently involved in community cohesion, young women’s capacity building and awareness raising activities. Job Summary Under the leadership of Rushd Executive Director, the Program Manager will work Rushd staff member and its stakeholders to manage the current Rush’s projects and plan for the future programs. Duties and Responsibilities • Work with Rushd with program and administration staff of Rushd to maintains and improve Rush’s professional capacity for extending training and technical assistance to communities, government institutions and civilsociety organizations in the areas of Rush engagement. • Develop appropriate training and support mechanisms to refine institutional and professional capacity of Rushd’s client organizations and target communities • Do fund raising for planned programs • Provide project reports with the help of program and field staff Qualification • University degree in relevant field of study • 3-5 years of experience in the area of planning, project management and capacity development • Demonstrate knowledge and experience working with the donor organizations, government agencies and communities • Excellent communications and writing skills • Excellent English and • Fluency in Dari or Pashto • Qualified women are encouraged to apply Submission Guideline CVs and letters of interest must be submitted to the following email address for consideration.
