Aow was found laying by the roadside in summer of 2013. It was a blazing hot day and something just didnt feel right so Pen and Louise stopped to check and found that Aow was actually completely paralyzed and could only move her head and nothing else. She was desperate for a drink so Pen and Louise gave her water and that is how she got her name...Aow is the Dari word for Water. Once back at the clinic we got her comfortable and started medications but all we could do then was wait to see if she improved, with no access to xrays facilities we had no idea what had happened or what damage had been done. Thankfully after 24 hours she started to show signs of improvement and within a week she was able to stand up with help and she just continued to get better. Aow proved to be a lovely friendly dog who craved the company and attention of humans. Will you be the person to give this gorgeous girl the life she deserves?
