Job: BYUB Student Video Promotions Tagging Editor Job title: BYUB Student Video Promotions Tagging Editor Job ID: Number of openings: 1 Work days/times: Monday-Friday (times to be determined) Hours per week: 20 Hours (Can be more during spring and summer term) Hourly wage: $8.50 Start dates: ASAP Supervisor: Brian Berthold Description: The Student On-Air Promotions Tagging Editor will be directly involved in the final edits of promos right before they air on BYU BYUtv, KBYU and BYUtv International. Under the direction of the On-Air Promotions Producer and On-Air Promotions Scheduling Manager, the Tagging Editor will attach promos with graphics displaying the day, date and time — and prepare them to air on television and the internet. Depending on their schedule, the Tagging Editor may work evenings, weekends and/or during the day. Qualifications: The student video promotions tagging editor at BYU Broadcasting should have a working knowledge of Final Cut Pro 7 and be familiar with Adobe products, such as Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop. Experience with After Effects is a plus. It is important that the editor be reliable, on time, a problem solver, flexible, able to deal with change and have an attention to detail.
