You enjoy envisioning new systems and structures, and you possess excellent organizational skills and technical theater experience. You appreciate the variety of working at a desk and on a ladder. Perhaps you have been a long time contract technician or a recent graduate from a technical theater program who is ready to meaningfully contribute to the evolving character of a lively and growing arts organization. Communications Manager You’re enthusiastic about the arts and wish to share your curiosity about creativity. You enjoy throwing a good party; from finding the right partners to planning the food to coming up with witty invitations for the guests. To do so you make use of all that technology has to offer — you post, tweet, share, and comment. You can’t help but build timelines and checklists, finding satisfaction in managing the details. When it’s time to party, you’re a social-butterfly. Building and maintaining relationships with all walks of people comes naturally to you, you’re probably a good salesperson too. You have a thirst for information about what’s happening; you keep your ear to the ground for emerging trends, events and current affairs. Development Manager You’re someone who is passionate about the arts and fearless about fundraising. You might just be getting started, but you’re in this for the long haul, and you envision yourself as a Development Director in the future. CounterPULSE is growing, and you will play an essential role in our future growth. You’ll work closely with the Executive and Artistic Director and our Board to design and run a major capital campaign, and to implement innovative strategies for gaining and sustaining ongoing support from individual donors.
