Job Opportunity!! The Campus Learning Center (CLC) at Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a graduate student to work as a part of the CLC team. The CLC is a full-service academic support center devoted to meeting the learning needs of undergraduates at VCU. Support is provided through comprehensive tutoring programs, Supplemental Instruction, and individual academic coaching. Graduate assistants will have the opportunity to experience work in all areas of the CLC. Duties will include supervising student staff, administrative record keeping, assisting with staff training and general participation as part of the overall CLC team. Applicants without previous academic support experience should have a willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards learning support. Night and weekend hours are required for this position. This position is a 9 month position and will run from August 10- May 9th for 2014-2015. We are currently hiring for the spring semester but the position is renewable for next year based on performance. This position is 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters.
