#Job Vacancy: Admin and Finance Officer Dawlaty is looking for Admin and Finance Officer with full time job for six months starting from July 2014 About Dawlaty: Dawlaty is a nonprofit foundation aims to enable non-violent activists, groups and civil society organizations to become active participants in achieving democratic transition in Syria, with a particular focus on young people. Roles and Responsibilities The admin & finance officer responsibility is to ensure that DAWLATY policies as well as donor regulations are strictly followed. A general breakdown of roles and responsibilities include: Field Finance Management: 1- Responsible for the implementation of systems and guidelines outlined in Dawlaty HR and Finance manuals 2- Manage regular reports and cash requests from field offices. 3- Advise on compliance issues and ensure compliance with internal and donor regulations on day to day transactions 4- Maintain and enhance financial systems in field offices HQ Finance Management 1- Review financial data for accuracy 2- Provide overall grant management support, including maintaining fund balance records, managing funds flow between DAWLATY and the donor 3- Developing indirect cost rates 4- Reviewing proposal budgets and agreements. 5- Donor and other, external reporting 6- Manage annual, organizational audits 7- Develop and train on organizational policies in DAWLATY offices 8- Follow up on the different admin issues. 9- Manage and maintain human resources related issues 10- Comply with audit requirements Requirements: - Syrian or Syrian Palestinian Nationality - Resident in Beirut - At least two years of related experience - University degree in Finance or administration - Very good skills in Excel and office softwares - Very good English How To apply: Send your CV along with a cover letter and work references to: [email protected] Deadline for application is 1 July 2014
