Job#: 1089 Job Title: Data Specialist Location: Glendale, CA Length: 6 months Description: Perform all business and support functions associated with the collection, validation and quality checking of data used in the proprietary listings system. Major duties include talking to customers including advertisers, researching and correcting consumer complaints, quality assurance functions, data evaluation, working with other departments during testing/loading/project planning to complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Other duties include auditing data sets, preparing information for clients, manual data review, and support activities for other departments. Mandatory: AA Degree required, ability to review data and use available tools to determine validity of listing, outstanding communication skills, ability to provide excellent customer service while verifying listing information with a customer. Computer savvy and highly skilled in online research. Good eye for identifying trends in good or bad information. General knowledge of US businesses and a grasp of the the current pop culture. Microsoft Word and Excel experience is required. Desired: BA/BS degree, Background in customer service.
