Columbus Street; Ottawa, IL. 61350 Job duties include- CSSR Position • Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone in order to secure appointments for Agent. • Obtain basic prospect information such as name, address, and payment method, as well as current insurance and risk information. • Maintain records of contacts, reactions and activities. • Telephone, email or write letters in response to correspondence from customers, or to follow up on initial sales contacts. • Deliver prepared sales discussions, reading from scripts that persuade potential prospects to meet with agent/agency producer with the intent purchase insurance products. • Become licensed in Property & Casualty as well as Life, Accident and Health. • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to help the customer identify specific product and solutions. • Solicit, sell and negotiate new business policies. • Review renewal business and identify appropriate follow-up action based on degree of change. • Cross-sell/up-sell products to existing customers. • Keep records of customers interactions ad transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken. • Assist with annual review process by contacting customers and preparing personalized customer coverage recommendations based on customers needs • Perform risk analysis and underwriting. • Act as client/claims liaison • Implement/adhere to company and agency guidelines. • General customer service duties as presented. • Perform other duties as assigned.
