Joe had Physical Therapy today—they worked mostly on balance and we were given balance exercises to do at home. Hes been walking with the cane lately, and that is helpful. He needs to be careful not to fall, as falling is an especially bad idea for brain surgery patients. He also had an evaluation from the physician there. She feels it would be a good idea to add Occupational Therapy (hands and arms) to his program, so we scheduled the first one for next week. He is still doing Speech/Cognitive Therapy as well. Tomorrow morning he will have his bronchoscopy. Hell have to skip breakfast—bummer. Please pray for: 1. Energy to do his rehab exercises daily, and that they would be effective. 2. That the bronchoscopy would go well and give us answers as to how to treat whatever is going on in his lungs. Actually, pray that it would show that they are clearing up on their own! 3. That we would be able to get an appointment with the neuro ophthalmologist soon and see if we can do anything about his vision. 4. Tumor to continue shrinking. Thanks very much!
