Joes 2014 Room Tree ~ Keeping with the tradition Dave Casella and started when Joe was 7 of putting his own real tree in his room. The past few years Ive broke with the traditional patriotic theme Joe used and started changing themes. 2012 was Willy Wonka, 2013 Tropical, and now 2014 is A Christmas Tree Lot/ Choosing a Tree , as Dave and I did originally, so I had to have multiple trees ! The first time ever. Im sure Joe is smiling and thrilled with his room, (like he was when we surprised him that first year in 1989), complete with my childhood metal sled and skates I found in the attic, and the new addition of the framed Jerry Seinfeld autograph from last weeks show on the wall. I cannot buy him a gift from a store anymore, but I can gift him my love & kindness, expressed through my actions to him and others, as he did ~
