You will have very good English language skills (written and verbal), experience using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), be proficient using computers and office applications and have the ability to multi task and manage your time effectively. Most importantly though, the successful applicant must be passionate about forging a career in Human Resources and Recruitment. The successful intern will be given every opportunity to learn not only from observation but by actually doing things and being responsible for tasks and projects. Based on your performance we may consider offering you a permanent position at the end of the Internship. Candidate Requirements As a Recruitment Intern you will be involved with: Assist in recruiting and staffing efforts Stay abreast of hiring needs/demands Assist in screening applicants and performing candidate searches Assist in answering incoming calls and route accordingly Handle personal and confidential information in a professional manner General administrative duties for department as needed including filing, scanning, updating employee records, sorting mail, data entry, and conducting research Maintain Outlook calendars and coordinate interviews. Handle telephone calls and respond to inquiries. Maintain and update data in the internal database. Assist with reference checks and other background checks. Properly document interviews, reference checks Scan paperwork as needed.
