John Boehner opposes ENDA, because, he claims, it will cause frivolous lawsuits and hurt businesses? That man is a racist and a bigot. So based on that argument I guess minorities shouldnt have a law protecting them against dubious hiring practices and discrimination either. I know there are conservatives out there who are good people and believe in social justice and progress, but your party is led by bigots and racists and I have no idea how you are unashamed to call yourself a republican at times. Especially here in liberal Philadelphia, where every creed and color resides. How can you go about your day and call your black co-worker your friend, and say you understand his plight but you support the voter ID laws? How can you walk down the street and hear a transgendered or gay person get called, disgusting, not normal, sub-human, faggot. And not feel a pit of rage swell up in your stomach that people like Boehner make that kind of language and behavior acceptable. Makes me sick.
