...John Kennedy and Gerald Ford served in the Navy in WWII, and Theodore Roosevelt ordered infantry charges in the Spanish-American War, but you have to go back to Ulysses Grant or Zachary Taylor or maybe even William Henry Harrison to find a US president that had any chance at all of having killed a opponent in combat personally. I can’t ever imagine us electing a member of, say, Seal Team Six president, but those are the men that Israel chooses, time after time.
