Join NYTimes bestselling Vermont author Archer Mayor as he takes the plunge into cyberspace for an interactive videoconference at five Vermont libraries on Wednesday, January 29, at 7 PM. Archer will be in person in the Meeting Room at Brooks Memorial Library. The libraries participating are: Brooks Memorial Library (Brattleboro); Dorothy Alling Library (Williston); Goodrich Memorial Library (Newport); the Morristown Centennial Library (Morrisville); Bradford Public Library; and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library (Montpelier.) SPECIAL: Get a sneak peak at Mayor’s twenty-fifth work, still in manuscript form, titled Proof Positive, which has been just sent to his editors. The videoconference will feature equipment purchased through a grant from Google under the auspices of the Vermont Department of Libraries. The addition of videoconferencing will allow library users to connect with, and broadcast to, the world at large. Videoconferencing allows people to connect with voice and video within the state and beyond our borders.
