Our Five-Minute Speaker will be: Nan Johnson from Lightbridge Hospice. Monthly Meetings At the SAN DIEGO COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING, we bring together a vast team of knowledgeable and experienced people with one goal in mind, and that is to educate our membership on information regarding all aspects of senior issues and care. Our members receive information on educational events for seniors. In addition, we discover unlimited networking opportunities to help one another grow our businesses. We always welcome guests at our meetings and events. Our monthly breakfast meetings are held in the cafeteria at 8:30 - 10:00 the first Thursday of each month (except December) at Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital located at 550 Washington Street. Ample, convenient, validated parking is in the building with entries on both 5th avenue and on Washington Street. Reservations are not required and be sure to bring plenty of business cards! There is no charge for guests for the first two visits, after which you will be asked to become a member, and the breakfast is still provided at no charge. You will have opportunities to meet others working within the senior industry and receive educational opportunities at each meeting. Our current membership is approaching 120 companies catering to seniors in our community. Membership is $35.00 per company per year and includes 2 attendees at each breakfast meeting, as well as substantial discounts on our fabulous Christmas Luncheon held at the Bahia Hotel each December, where many companies purchase tables for this event.
