Join us for the Fifth Annual Fishermen’s Village Pirate Festival to be held July 26-28, 2013. This event is fun for all, so dress like a pirate and join us as the Pirates of the Treasure Coast pillage and plunder Punta Gorda! Pirate Invasion on the #PuntaGorda City Hall Wednesday, July 10th, 2013: Pirates of the Treasure Coast will invade Punta Gorda City Hall and take Council Members for ransom! As the pirates invade the complex at 8:30 AM to take City Council and the Mayor hostage, and raise the skull and crossbones above the complex. Commodore Cutter will now reign over the city and appoint a Governor to now oversee the Fishermen’s Village area of the city. This area will be a safe house to the motley Pirate Krewe of the Treasure Coast. The media is encouraged to attend this event.
