SO the Times Union Reporter/writer Mark Woods just calls me to ask me some about the Dare to think conference in Clay county. I told him I as not able to attend but his one question was IF God was so important to our founding fathers why is the name God Not in written in the constitution OH BOY, did I have a hay day with him. He got a 30 minute BCM lesson on the constitution and biblical principles of government. He sat and listened to me for the whole 30 minutes asking questions and talking back and forth. I sure set the record straight about the founding fathers separating from Britain for religious liberty and that they prayed and studied the bible for hours during their constitutional convention that president Adams mentions in his writings. And that the majority of the constitution is biblical principles and law found in the bible, our entire foundation of government is found in exodus 18. And that a study done shows that the #1 quoted source of the founding fathers is the bible. He may write a story about all this and quote me, we will see.
