Join us tomorrow at 11.50am for a few thoughts before the Coventry Litany of Reconciliation on the front steps of the Cathedral. We listen to the City Hall bells toll 12 noon, then begin the Litany. Following our Litany, go to the front of City Hall to stand in silence with the Sisters of Providence and many others, to draw attention to poverty in our community. Rather than going to City Hall to stand in silence to remind people of the citys poverty, you could go into the Cathedral, into the cottage near the Wellington Street entrance, and have tea, bread and cheese with others who pave participated. A simple lunch is a tangible reminder that many dont even have bread and tea. And, we have so much....
