Jon Hellevig writes about EU businessmen in Russia: Businessmen representing all EU countries are furious at EU for its conduct in the Ukrainian crisis. I participated today at a meeting of members of Association of European Business (AEB), Russia with EU Ambassador in Moscow, Mr. Vygaudas Ušackas. Meeting was dedicated to the to the current situation between the European Union and Russia. The comments and questions that followed the ambassadors brief on the situation and the possibility of sanctions, were devastating for the EU position. The executives of European businesses clearly told that they see that EU has had a hand in fomenting the crisis and told the ambassador that they do not want to be put in the situation were the businesses must pay for EU’s political machinations. Some 10 executives spoke and everyone without exception against EU position. I took the floor first and reminded about the process and evidence about how the EU was instrumental in installing the fascist junta in Kiev. My concrete question was “what was the exact EU involvement with what we know as Ashton’s snipers?”. Obviously there was no real reply to that. // In the picture, me after the meeting wearing the St. George ribbon which has become the symbol of Russian resistance.
