Joseph G. Kamerers Obituary on The Advocate Joe Kamerer a native of Detroit, MI and residence of Saint Amant passed away early Thursday morning, July 17th, 2014 at the age of 58. He loved his Lord and Savoir very much. He did serve a short time in the United States Coast Guard. He had worked as an apartment manager and maintenance. Joe leaves to cherish his memories, his son Dominic Kamerer and former wife of 30 years Marie Perkins Kamerer Parks. Also, his mother Josephine Modica Kamerer, sisters Rose Kamerer, Ann Arnold and brother-in-law Michael Arnold. Nephews, Justin and Jonathan Arnold, Nephews Sean and Frank Kamerer-White. Nieces Angela Kamerer-White and Lisa Arnold, great niece Heather Arnold and great nephew Skyler Hyland. Going up to meet his dad Frank Joseph Kamerer. Joe was a free spirit and one of a kind. He loved to laugh and make people laugh. He loved his family and friends very much. They all meant the world to him. Music also was a huge part of his life. He loved to volunteer and support his favorite radio station KEXP in Seattle where he lived many years. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Memorial Service at Graceworks Church in Prairieville on Hwy 44 on Thursday, July 24 at 2:00 P.M. conducted by Pastor Donnie Easley. Also, on Saturday, July 26 at 11:30 A.M. a Resurrection Mass will be said by Reverend Gerry Martin at St. John the Evangelist Catholic in Prairieville on Hwy. 73.
