Journey day 112... Cameron is still on cpap. I was very nervous for him on Saturday that he may have to be intubated before the end of the day but hes holding his own. ENT will look at him tomorrow morning and then decide what the next step is. I have had to keep my distance a little this weekend as I havent been feeling the best but it comforts me to know that his nurses care as much as I do about his condition when THEY are not there. I have faithfully called the NICU every 2-3 hours checking on him and they are always happy to hear from me and share the latest news. Tonight I called and after getting an update I told our nurse to have a good couple of days off. She says you know I wont be here until Thursday but Ill probably check on him myself a couple of times between now and then. it just warms my heart how much they care about my sweet boy. They all are truly angels here on earth.
