July 8, 2014 -- Gage had lab drawn this morning and I can definately say these were the best results we have ever had since he was diagnosed. WBC was up to 2.5, HGB was up from 7.7 to 9.5 and Platelets were normal at 235. He is feeling good and as usual was happy when I called him with his results. We are not sure what our appointment on Monday will bring or what it will do to his counts, but until then we will enjoy how he is feeling with these numbers. Gage did rest some this morning and played games with Grandma Marla this afternoon. Yes, he won more games then she did and there was even some playful name calling. By the time Lionel and I got home he was bouncing off the walls. He has gone non-stop all evening which included riding the 3 wheeler around the the yard and the freshly cut wheat field. He even gave a few rides to those of us crazy enough to ride with him. Diane and Bre came out to drop a couple things off and Drew and his mom came out to bring him a card. Overall a very good day and we are so enjoying his energy and witty humor that is back in full force. We will be saying good-bye to Grandma Marla for a few days...she will be back next week and Grandma Taylor is going to take her turn with Gage the next couple of days. I think Grandpa Taylor has missed his summer partner in crime and will be ready to pick on Gage for the next few days. I hope the 2 of them dont drive Grandma too crazy. Thanks again to all of you that have sent cards, Sonic money, continue to pray and just overall support us through all of this. It has all made this so much easier to bear. Polly & Lionel
