June Newsletter HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!!! Infant One June is here and let our summer projects begin! This month we will focus on self help skills and fine motor such as finger painting and sensory play. We will continue to place toys out of reach causing the children to have to stretch. The children are clapping, pointing, reaching and finding ways for their needs to be met on their own. We would like to wish Colton, Sophia and Donnie a very happy 1st birthday! We would also like welcome Miss Tamara to our classroom! She has been a warm, loving and nurturing addition to our nursery! Miss Tracy and Miss Tamara Infant Two Sweet summertime is finally here! We are very excited to be working on summer themed projects for the month of June! Some projects include sunshine, sea creatures and sweet treats! We will also be working on all of our father’s day gifts since it is all about dad this month! In the sensory table we will be exploring animals, jell-o and pudding! We will also continue to encourage all our babies to practice walking. They are all doing so well! Miss Sara and Miss Julie Toddlers Summer is here and the toddlers are ready for sunshine and warm days! Some of our themes will include “fun in the sun”, “All about dad” and “ocean”! With these themes we will continue to work on fine motor skills through gluing, coloring and painting! We’ll also be working on gross motor skills while playing outside in the sun! With the hot weather approaching, we are asking parents to please start bringing in bathing suits, hats, swim/water shoes and a towel. Also a friendly reminder of our sun block policy, please apply sun block to your child before school each morning! Miss Tara and Miss Bunny Toddler/Preschool June is here and along with that comes the hot weather! We have so many fun outdoor activities planned like water play, tents, tunnels, and bubbles. Please send in a bathing suites, towel, water shoes, bug spray and sun block in order for your child to join in on all the fun! This month we will be introducing summer into our curriculum with weekly themes like beach, ocean, camping and carnivals. Please be sure to check out all of our awesome projects that will be displayed all over the room. In the sensory table, we will be exploring things like sand, water and shaving cream. We would like to wish Benjamin a very happy 2nd birthday! We would also like to welcome Miss Skylar to our classroom. She has been a fantastic addition and the children adore her! Miss Megan and Miss Skylar Preschool Two Happy June! This school year has flown and we are down to the last few weeks before our graduation! Our graduates are Bella, Emily, Dominick and Jake. We welcome their families to join us Friday, June 28th at 4:00pm to join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of their children at their Preschool graduation. Your children have worked very hard and are extremely excited to show you all they have learned. As we wind down our school year we will be finishing our alphabet books, learning about animals under the sea & celebrating Father’s Day. We will also be doing end of the year evaluations! We will be spending as much time as possible out doors so be sure to dress your child appropriately! This includes hats, socks, closed toe shoes and applying sun block before coming to school each morning. Please make sure your child has extra shorts and T-shirts in their classroom as well. As always, we can’t thank you enough for your generous donations to our classroom! Any outdoor items are gladly accepted along with art supplies such as side walk chalk, spray bottles, old quilts to sit on, buttons, ribbons, stickers, books, etc. Thank you for all your support!
