June’s life story has always been a part of June’s website but hidden from easy public view… It masqueraded under the title of “Reminiscences of a June a Traveling Grandmother” and could only be found on the top navigation strip of June’s website on the drop down menu called “June’s Life”… This story was written with the purpose of informing the grandchildren that their Grandma June had a very important and an interesting life before Alzheimer’s took control of her life…I did not want them to think of her only as the confused old lady that she became in the later years of this terrible disease… The 31 chapters of her life begins with her early childhood days and works it’s way through the Great Depression Years, World War II years, her extensive work in her church the Redeemer Lutheran Church and finally her extensive forensic travels of the world as my Forensic Administrative Assistant…this includes such things as the first ever forensic conference in the Soviet Union during the height of the “Cold War”…June’s audience with the Pope complete with a handshake…her week at Oxford University and Christ’s Church College… The June story is profusely illustrated... I just recently brought her life story to public view by including it on the front home page of her website in the series of colorful boxes near the bottom of the page…as the very first box on the left side and designated June’s Life Story… Please take a look: junebergalzheimers The direct link to the book and the index of the 31 chapters can be seen by clicking this link: junebergalzheimers/junes-life/reminiscences-of-june-a-traveling-grandmother
