Just A Word From Clarence; on A Living Hope, 1Prt. 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, The living hope comes by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. If you have been Born-Again, and you Faith is in what Jesus did at the Cross you have A LIVING HOPE. [Rom 4;25] Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification [had to do with Jesus dying on the Cross for our sins; He had no sins] [Rom. 10:9-10 ] That if thou shalt confess with thy mount the Lord Jesus, [ confess that Jesus is the Lord of Glory, and the Saviour of man, and that He died on the Cross that we might be Saved] and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation [when Faith comes forth from its silence to announce itself and proclaim the Glory and the Grace of the Lord, its voice is confession] [1 Cor. 15:1-4] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures [Eph. 1:19-20] And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his might power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places. [1 Thessalonians 4:14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. [1 Pet. 1:3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively {living] hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
