Just a Lovely Poem.....By Maria Lenn Langendoen We Poets he is covered by sheets of paper keeping his nights sleepless and swallow his pill of inspiration early in the evening the poet is waiting waiting for what is bubbling out of his unconsiuous mind yes, he has prayed for darkness, so his blood is transforming into ink and he is prepared to scratch the words on paper with his nails happy he is when his demons emerges and he can battle his tears and pain illuminate the night quenched and tired he starts his day waiting for the soft light of dawn that has to surprise him as usual and he follows the rules of tradition Light will chase the shadows again ink is flowing through his veins and he project his lightness on a blue sky ah, un occasional cloud, don’t worry it is just a butterfly, fluttering he can’t wait to spread his wings and rest on a flower himself feel the love around him and enjoy the birds and the bees Life How great thou art if staying in ‘Twilight zone’ © Marialenn 2013
