Just a little George update - the last few days hes really been struggling with his skin around the stoma again. The kids loved Alton towers but it was hard for both George and ourselves as his stoma bags werent lasting for more than a couple of hours so we had to keep finding places around the park to change George and keep him comfortable. I think on the Saturday he went thro 5 outfit changes due to the leaks. As a result his poor skin is now scorched again and causing sleepless nights. Hes just had a few rough days which is part of this condition but you feel pretty helpless when we hit this part of the cycle as theres not many options to make him feel better. Today he starts his new medication for his liver - lets hope that helps slow down the damage thats being caused especially while we tackle the latest problem with his colon. We are still waiting on a date for the month admission at GOSH which will hopefully be in October so its a case of just keeping George happy and comfortable and out of hopsital until then!
