Just a little update from Warwick, New York construction site of new world headquarters. ... My son arrived at the office complex in Tuxedo, NY Friday afternoon to check in for a one-week work assignment. He went through orientation and safety meeting over the weekend. Then news of the blizzard came in and construction was shut down Sunday evening for the following two days in anticipation of the Blizzard of 2015. New York City is expecting a possibility of two feet of snow. The city is shut down. The work site is some distance away from the city, and getting plenty of snow. ... My son and other volunteers are holed in a Sheraton hotel, where Mother is generously boarding short term volunteers. He went out for supplies before the storm hit and bought a few food items. ... He is all geared up for his assignment and first experience and is spending it stuck in hotel room.... The hotel has a restaurant, but it is expensive. Bethel kitchen sites lovingly opened to prepare snack foods for the volunteers who are stranded at the hotel. ... (Brenda)
